A:  With 25 fantastic resorts at Walt Disney World, sometimes the hardest part of planning a Disney vacation is deciding where to stay.  With each resort offering unique theming, food choices, amenities, central pools and price points, it is no wonder guests may be considering staying at more than one resort during their upcoming visit. This is what is referred to as a  Split Stay,   meaning that you would book at least two different resorts during the same holiday.  For example guests staying for 7 nights may want to enjoy the luxury of the Grand Floridian but budgets may only allow a three-night stay.  After that, you may choose to save money by staying at a moderate resort for the remaining 4 nights. Disney World Resort Rooms that Sleep 5 or More People Are you planning a trip to Walt Disney World with 5 or more people in your party? Many of the resort rooms in the Disney World resorts are designed for 4 people plus a child under 3 years old, but there are many good options designed for 5 or more guests.  We’ll give you details on those below. Another option is to request two connecting or adjoining rooms. Connecting rooms have inside doors that open two rooms side by side rooms to each other. Adjoining rooms are next to each other, but don’t have inside connecting doors. Compared to some options, connecting or adjoining rooms can be a less expensive choice, and allow for some privacy. We’ve been told by Disney that if you have 1-2 adults, and any number of children from 3-17 years old, as long as you’re all from the same household address, they’ll guarantee connecting rooms. We asked if it was permitted to allow the kids to stay in one room and the adults in th
